All rights reserved. lookup_index alias is li The index.bib file contains the description (in LaTeX format) of all the documents deposited in your local collection. This file and the imported ones can be looked up. The lookup_index command provides an interactive lookup facility of the index.bib files. WHEN TO USE the lookup_index command? When you want to locate a document in a local collection. HOW TO USE the lookup_index command? Go to the following directory: col/dpi.inpe.br/banon/1995/08.08.00.00/not_sent/library_service ( for example if the current directory is the one in which you have installed the initial collection (e.g. URLib), just execute the line cd col/dpi.inpe.br/banon/1995/08.08.00.00/not_sent/library_service ) then execute the line lookup_index OBSERVATION The command will ask you which index you want to look up. You just have to answer by entering the corresponding repository number. By entering: help at the prompt biblook: you will see how to make a search. The lookup_index command calls bibindex and biblook C programs written by Jeff Erickson. In this URLib Version 1.1 the two programs have been compiled to run on Sparc machines. For other machines you should compile them again (see col/dpi.inpe.br/banon/1995/09.21.16.26/doc/bibindex-2.5 directory). end_Readme
